The school has a tradition of achieving a high academic standard. Grade 0 to Grade 5 are taught by class teachers. Core curriculum subjects are taught by specialist teachers in Grade 6 and 7. There are specialist teachers for Physical Education, Music, Afrikaans, Zulu, Media Studies and Computer Studies throughout the school. Education is skills based rather than content based; each child is assessed on her own ability and is given the recognition due.
